Migratory Grazing

..Blending the science of grazing with the art of stockmanship

header photo

The stockmanship used to reboot herd instinct, allowing us to practice Instinctive Migratory Grazing  was developed over decades working  alone with large numbers of cattle on plains, in mountains and timber, as well as in rough brushy country and on irrigated pastures.    It is difficult at best to learn new techniques  alone as you will be fighting the methods you have used all of your life. I have videos of how to reboot herd instinct.  A big part of this stockmanship is proactive.  We generally try to approach our animals from the direction we want them to go, and adjust our approach so the animals will either go by us, or turn around and go by us.

The first form below is to contact me directly , and the second form is to contact IMG student and grazer Riki Kremers who holds schools on their family ranch and consults in Wyoming . Please fill out the comment section in whichever form you fill out so that we have an idea of what you're looking to discuss.

If you'd like to talk, leave a message at and I'll get back to you. While I don't charge for phone consultations, you can feel free to leave a donation for however much you feel the call was worth on this link.

Thank You,
